A state specialized school for grades 5 to 11, on the Gulobod massif, near Chorsu metro. The short name IM is how the school signs its own channels.
Shayxontohur has plenty of ordinary schools with numbers. This is the specialized school in that district. It belongs to the Agency for Specialized Educational Institutions, the same state agency that runs presidential schools and creative schools. Shayxontohur IM is not a presidential school.
The legal name is long on purpose: Ixtisoslashtirilgan ta'lim muassasalari agentligi tizimidagi Shayxontohur tuman ixtisoslashtirilgan maktabi. It was registered on 7 September 2022. The taxpayer number is 309840579. The director on the registry is Qo'ldosheva Shoira Muxtorovna.
Classes run at least from grade 5 through grade 11, with parallel groups the school numbers like 8-02, 9-05, and 10-05. Admission for this kind of school goes through the agency portal, not a walk-in desk on this website.

Grades 5 to 8 met in the robotics room at 15:00 for Tinkercad: axes, shapes, and a first keychain. Students could bring their own laptops. Places were limited.

The eco community and the school press opened a short-video contest. Uzbek or English, up to two minutes, two films per class. Winning classes collect green leaves for the class league.

The press channel announced that student Xalilov Shoxjahon scored 1490 on the SAT, and treated it as a step toward study abroad.
In October 2025 the school described four active houses. Candidates for student president had to come from one of them. The names are still the clearest public picture of how student life is organized.
